ERASMUS+  program

5^th mobility: Sweden

We attended and participated actively in seminars and workshops which focused on the pollution of the Baltic Sea and especially on the problems of the marine wildlife there. The activities of the program took place in Nova Academy, in Simrishamn and in the nearby areas.

Tuesday: After a long and tiring journey with Aegean and Scandinavian Airlines and a three-hour journey by train across the bridge and through the tunnel connecting Denmark with Sweden, and across the green rural areas in the southernmost part of Sweden, we reached our destination, the town of Simrishamn, located in the South-East of Sweden. We were welcomed at the local train station by the smiling students and their families who would host us for the following days.

Wednesday: In the morning we met at the Nova Academy, where teachers and students had organized a welcome breakfast. It was a particularly warm welcome since the school choir sang for us. During breakfast, the town mayor greeted each one of us offering a symbolic gift, a five-minute hourglass intended to be used by us in order to minimize the water that we consume when we shower. Then, we walked to the other building of the school, which was in the harbor, where we attended an interesting presentation on the Ghost Nets. One hour later, we had lunch in a traditional restaurant in the center of the town called ?Hickory?. After that, we returned to the school and took part in workshops intended to make us think about ways to protect the wildlife. After the end of the workshops we had free time with our hosts until the end of the day.

Thursday: In the morning we gathered at the school, where a bus was waiting to take us to Copenhagen, the capital city of the neighbouring Denmark. Our first stop was at the aquarium called ?Blue Planet?, the biggest aquarium in Northern Europe. There, we observed the different kinds of marine life from the Baltic Sea and from all around the globe. Furthermore, we bought souvenirs in order to remember our visit for the rest of our lives. We were also able to rest at the lunch area of the aquarium where we were able to consume the lunch packets which had been provided by the school. Afterwards, we were taken to Denmark?s famous landmark, ?The Little Mermaid?, a statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen?s famous fairytale. Later, there was a guided boat tour along the canals of the city. At the end of our tour, we had free time not only to witness the beauty of Copenhagen but also to taste the famous, traditional Danish red sausage called ?Poelse?.

 

Friday: For once more we met early in the morning at the school which we left heading to the smallest, but also one of the richest regarding biodiversity, national parks of Sweden, called  Stenshuvud. We hiked through the park enjoying the rich flora and the warm company of our fellow travelers. We stopped at Naturum Stenshuvud where we were informed about the national park and the living creatures in it. Moreover, we visited the extraordinary beach there and took many photos. We ate a traditional Swedish soup at an open picnic area nearby and later on we continued our hike. We admired the beautiful landscape from the highest peak of the park and while returning, we took a break at one of the park stations to enjoy some Swedish pastries and the famous traditional apple juice of the area. On our way back, we saw The King’s Grave a burial site dating from the Bronze Age. At night, our hosts who had organized a barbeque on the beach of Simrishamn gave us another great opportunity to bond even more because we barbequed, played games and sang all together as a one.

Saturday: We left early in the morning for the city of Kristianstad, where we had plenty of free time to wander around in every street of this picturesque city. We also bought some souvenirs and traditional products and then we gathered in a big green park outside the Naturum, the environmental centre of the area. There, we split in different groups in order to answer some questionnaires about the city. Later on, we attended a lecture about the environment and the history of the city.

Sunday: In the morning we visited the second building of the school, where the chemistry lab is and we experimented on measuring the PH of water from different sources, that is water from the harbour, from the river of Stenshuvud and tap water. Then, we ate at the same restaurant where we had lunch on the first day of our trip and afterwards we had some free time. After that it was time for the presentations of every country. In the afternoon of the same day, there was a farewell party held at the school, organized by the parents and the students themselves. We laughed a lot, danced, had fun, ate and said our goodbyes.

Monday: We met at 5:30 in the morning at the local train station where we took the train to Copenhagen. From there, we boarded on the plane to Vienna, which was our in-between stop of the long flight to Thessaloniki.

EVALUATION OF THE WEEK

During our stay in Simrishamn, our primary goal was to attend and participate in activities intended to educate us on the subject of sea water pollution and destruction of sea life. The activities themselves were so well organized that got our undivided attention. Most of them met our expectations. Through our participation in these activities, we gained knowledge, shared experiences and improved our English. Furthermore, they helped us bond and communicate better with our fellow partners. The school facilities were in excellent condition since the school building is new. The facilities included an enormous library, lots of specialized classrooms equipped with modern technology. Every day was well-organised and full of experiences which however were exhausting at some times.  The destinations were amazing and completely different from what we are used to in our country. Everything we did and saw during that week will definitely be unforgettable. Last but not least, the families that hosted us, as well as the teachers, were very friendly towards us. All the family members did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and make ourselves at home. Moreover, the students showed us their school, their town and they did their best to entertain us. During that trip, we obtained knowledge and experiences, got acquainted with a different civilization and tradition and had the chance to visit destinations which offered us a more open view of the world. The highlight of our visit is that we bonded with people of different cultures from ours and created memories that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

32ο ΓΕΛ ΘΕΣΣΑΛΟΝΙΚΗΣ

ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑ: ERASMUS+

Ταξίδι πέμπτο : ΣΟΥΗΔΙΑ

Παρακολουθήσαμε και συμμετείχαμε ενεργά στα σεμινάρια που είχαν ως αντικείμενο τη ρύπανση της χλωρίδας και της πανίδας στη Βαλτική Χερσόνησο και ειδικότερα στα προβλήματα που αντιμετωπίζει η υδρόβια πανίδα εκεί. Οι δραστηριότητες πραγματοποιήθηκαν στην Nova Academy, στο Simrishamn και στις γύρω περιοχές.

ΤΡΙΤΗ: Μετά από ένα πολύωρο ταξίδι με τις αεροπορικές εταιρίες Aegean Airlines και Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) σε συνδυασμό με μία τρίωρη διαδρομή με τρένο πάνω από την Bαλτική και μέσα από τις καταπράσινες γεωργικές εκτάσεις της Σουηδίας φτάσαμε στον προορισμό μας, την κωμόπολη του Simrishamn, μια από τις νοτιότερες περιοχές της Σουηδίας. Εκεί, στον σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό της πόλης, μας περίμεναν χαμογελαστά πρόσωπα, γνώριμα και μη. Μετά τις πρώτες συστάσεις ο καθένας μας έφυγε για το σπίτι, στο οποίο θα τον φιλοξενούσαν τις επόμενες μέρες.

ΤΕΤΑΡΤΗ: Το πρωί συναντηθήκαμε στο χώρο του σχολείου και συγκεκριμένα στο χώρο της καφετέριας, όπου τα παιδιά και οι καθηγητές είχαν οργανώσει ένα μπουφέ γνωριμίας. Ήταν μία ιδιαίτερα θερμή υποδοχή, αφού η χορωδία του σχολείου μας παρουσίασε λίγα τραγούδια με σκοπό να τέρψει το κοινό. Κατά τη διάρκεια του πρωινού, ο δήμαρχος της πόλης μας καλωσόρισε προσωπικά προσφέροντας μας κάποια συμβολικά δώρα όπως μια κλεψύδρα 5 λεπτών ώστε να θέτουμε ένα χρονικό όριο όταν πλενόμαστε, με στόχο τον περιορισμό στην κατανάλωση του νερού. Στη συνέχεια, περπατήσαμε ως το άλλο κτίριο του σχολείου, στο λιμάνι, όπου παρακολουθήσαμε μία ενδιαφέρουσα διάλεξη σχετικά με τα Ghost Nets. Κατόπιν, πήγαμε για φαγητό σε ένα παραδοσιακό εστιατόριο στο κέντρο της πόλης και αφότου τελειώσαμε επιστρέψαμε στο σχολείο και συμμετείχαμε σε διάφορα workshops. Με τη λήξη των workshops είχαμε ελεύθερο χρόνο ως το τέλος της μέρας.

ΠΕΜΠΤΗ: Συγκεντρωθήκαμε το πρωί στο χώρο του σχολείου, όπου περίμενε ένα λεωφορείο για να μας μεταφέρει στην Κοπεγχάγη, στη γειτονική Δανία. Η πρώτη μας στάση ήταν το ενυδρείο ?Blue Planet?, το μεγαλύτερο ενυδρείο στη βόρεια Ευρώπη. Εκεί, παρατηρήσαμε τα διάφορα είδη θαλάσσιας ζωής της Βαλτικής και όλου του κόσμου. Ακόμα, αγοράσαμε σουβενίρ για να θυμόμαστε για πάντα την επίσκεψη μας, αλλά και φάγαμε το μεσημεριανό, το οποίο μας παρείχε το σχολείο. Έπειτα, μας μετέφεραν ώστε να δούμε το διάσημο ορόσημο της Δανίας ?Τη μικρή γοργόνα? που είναι ένα γλυπτό εμπνευσμένο από το ομώνυμο παραμύθι του Hans Christian Andersen. Συνεχίζοντας, πραγματοποιήθηκε ξενάγηση με καράβι στα κανάλια της Κοπεγχάγης. Τέλος, είχαμε ελεύθερο χρόνο για να γνωρίσουμε από πρώτο χέρι την αγορά της πόλης αλλά και για να δοκιμάσουμε το διάσημο και παραδοσιακό κόκκινο λουκάνικο ?Poelse?.

ΠΑΡΑΣΚΕΥΗ: Για ακόμα μία φορά συναντηθήκαμε νωρίς το πρωί στο χώρο του σχολείου από όπου αποχωρήσαμε με προορισμό το μικρότερο εθνικό πάρκο της Σουηδίας, το Stenshuvud, το οποίο όμως είναι ένα από τα πιο πλούσια όσον αφορά την βιοποικιλότητα. Διασχίσαμε το πάρκο, απολαμβάνοντας την πλούσια βλάστηση και τη ζεστή συντροφιά των συνοδοιπόρων μας. Σταματήσαμε στο Naturum Stenshuvud όπου πληροφορηθήκαμε για το εθνικό πάρκο και τα έμβια όντα που υπάρχουν σε αυτό. Στη συνέχεια, επισκεφθήκαμε την εντυπωσιακή παραλία που βρισκόταν εκεί και βγάλαμε φωτογραφίες. Φάγαμε μία παραδοσιακή σουηδική σούπα και ύστερα συνεχίσαμε την πεζοπορία μας. Θαυμάσαμε τη θέα από την ψηλότερη κορυφή του πάρκου και επιστρέφοντας, για να ξεκουραστούμε κάναμε ένα διάλειμμα σε έναν ακόμα σταθμό του πάρκου, όπου δοκιμάσαμε σουηδικά γλυκά και ποτά, όπως τον παραδοσιακό χυμό μήλου της περιοχής. Γυρνώντας, παρατηρήσαμε τον ?The King’s Grave? έναν χώρο ταφής που χρονολογείται από την εποχή του Χαλκού. Το βράδυ, οι οικοδεσπότες είχαν οργανώσει μπάρμπεκιου στην παραλία του Simrishamn. Ήταν μία ευκαιρία να δεθούμε ακόμα περισσότερο καθώς ψήσαμε φαγητά, παίξαμε παιχνίδια και τραγουδήσαμε όλοι μαζί.

ΣΑΒΒΑΤΟ: Αναχωρήσαμε νωρίς το πρωί για την πόλη Kristianstad όπου είχαμε αρκετό ελεύθερο χρόνο να επισκεφτούμε κάθε γωνιά της γραφικής αυτής πόλης. Αφού αγοράσαμε αναμνηστικά και παραδοσιακά προϊόντα, συγκεντρωθήκαμε σε ένα μεγάλο πράσινο χώρο έξω από το κτίριο του περιβαλλοντικού κέντρου Naturum. Εκεί, χωριστήκαμε σε ομάδες και συμπληρώσαμε κάποια ερωτηματολόγια σχετικά με την πόλη. Αργότερα, παρακολουθήσαμε μία διάλεξη με θέμα το περιβάλλον και την ιστορία της πόλης Kristianstad.

ΚΥΡΙΑΚΗ: Το πρωί επισκεφθήκαμε το δεύτερο κτίριο του σχολείου, όπου κάναμε χημικά πειράματα μέτρησης του PH του νερού που είχε συλλεχθεί από το διαφορετικές πηγές όπως το λιμάνι, της θάλασσα και την παροχή της πόλης. Έπειτα, φάγαμε στο ίδιο εστιατόριο που δειπνήσαμε την πρώτη μέρα και στη συνέχεια είχαμε ελάχιστο ελεύθερο χρόνο. Τότε ήταν η ώρα των παρουσιάσεων της κάθε χώρας. Το απόγευμα της ίδιας μέρας, πραγματοποιήθηκε αποχαιρετιστήριο πάρτυ που οργανώθηκε από τους γονείς και τους μαθητές του σχολείου. Γελάσαμε με την ψυχή μας, χορέψαμε μέχρι τελικής πτώσης, διασκεδάσαμε, φάγαμε και αποχαιρετιστήκαμε για μία τελευταία φορά.

ΔΕΥΤΕΡΑ: Συναντηθήκαμε 5.30 το πρωί στο σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό του Simrishamn όπου πήραμε το τρένο για Κοπεγχάγη. Από εκεί πήραμε αεροπλάνο για τη Βιέννη και στη συνέχεια για τη Θεσσαλονίκη.

ΑΞΙΟΛΟΓΗΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΑΣ

Καθ’ όλη τη διαμονή μας στο Simrishamn, βασικός μας στόχος ήταν να παρακολουθήσουμε και να πάρουμε μέρος σε δραστηριότητες που ήταν αξιόλογες και καλά προετοιμασμένες. Οι περισσότερες από αυτές ανταπεξήλθαν στις προσδοκίες μας. Μέσω της συμμετοχής μας σε αυτές τις δραστηριότητες αποκτήσαμε γνώσεις, μοιραστήκαμε εμπειρίες και βελτιώσαμε τα Αγγλικά μας. Επίσης οι δραστηριότητες αυτές βοήθησαν την μεταξύ μας επικοινωνία.

Oι σχολικές εγκαταστάσεις ήταν σε άριστη κατάσταση καθώς το σχολείο ήταν πρόσφατα χτισμένο. Διέθετε μία τεράστια βιβλιοθήκη, πολλές και εξειδικευμένες αίθουσες διδασκαλίας με σύγχρονα τεχνολογικά μέσα.

Όσον αφορά στον προγραμματισμό των δραστηριοτήτων, η κάθε μέρα ήταν πολύ καλά προσχεδιασμένη και εμπλουτισμένη με δραστηριότητες που ήταν ενδιαφέρουσες και μας χάρισαν μερικές από τις πιο αξιόλογες, αλλά κάποιες φορές και εξαντλητικές εμπειρίες. Οι προορισμοί ήταν εκπληκτικοί και οι περισσότεροι διαφορετικοί από τα ελληνικά δεδομένα. Όλα όσα κάναμε και είδαμε κατά την διάρκεια της εβδομάδας αυτής θα είναι σίγουρα εμπειρίες που θα κρατήσουμε και θα αξιοποιήσουμε.

Τέλος οι οικογένειες που μας φιλοξένησαν, αλλά και οι εκπαιδευτικοί ήταν εξαιρετικοί απέναντί μας. Όλα τα μέλη της οικογένειας έκαναν ό,τι μπορούσαν για να νιώσουμε άνετα και να προσαρμοστούμε στον τρόπο ζωής τους. Ακόμα, οι μαθητές μας ξενάγησαν στο σχολείο τους καθώς και στην πόλη τους και προσπάθησαν να μας γνωρίσουν τον τρόπο διασκέδασής τους.

Κατά την διάρκεια του ταξιδιού αποκομίσαμε γνώσεις και εμπειρίες, γνωρίσαμε έναν διαφορετικό πολιτισμό, με τα ήθη και τα έθιμά του και είχαμε την ευκαιρία να επισκεφθούμε προορισμούς που μας προσέφεραν μια πληρέστερη εικόνα του κόσμου. Το σπουδαιότερο όμως είναι πως δεθήκαμε με άτομα εντελώς διαφορετικής κουλτούρας από την δικιά μας και δημιουργήσαμε μαζί τους αναμνήσεις που θα θυμόμαστε για μια ζωή.

 

 

 

ΔΕΛΤΙΟ ΤΥΠΟΥ

Θέμα: Συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα  Erasmus +

 

Το 32^ο ΓΕΛ Θεσσαλονίκης συμμετείχε  στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ με θέμα:   «Think Smart – Act Green» σε σύμπραξη με άλλα τέσσερα σχολεία από ισάριθμες ευρωπαϊκές χώρες: Ιταλία, Γερμανία, Πορτογαλία και Σουηδία.

Συντονιστής του προγράμματος ορίστηκε το Γερμανικό σχολείο, ενώ η θεματολογία του είναι περιβαλλοντικού περιεχομένου.

Το πρόγραμμα μας ξεκίνησε τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015 και ολοκληρώνεται σε όλες  του  της πτυχές  φθινόπωρο  του 2017.

Η ικανοποίηση μας από την συμμετοχή του σχολείου μας στο πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ είναι μεγάλη και θέλουμε να ευχαριστήσουμε όλους όσους συνέβαλαν στην ολοκλήρωση του. Στην προσπάθεια μας αυτή μας στήριξαν πολλοί τους οποίους και ευχαριστούμε. Ιδιαίτερα ευχαριστούμε τους μαθητές μας οι οποίοι με ευγένεια, γνώση και μεράκι έγιναν άξιοι πρεσβευτές της χώρας μας στις τέσσερις χώρες της Ευρώπης που συναποτελούσαμε την σύμπραξη. Ευχαριστούμε επίσης τους γονείς τους που για μια ακόμα φορά ήταν κοντά μας όπως επίσης και τους συναδέλφους εκπαιδευτικούς του σχολείου μας, οι οποίοι με την στάση τους συνέβαλαν στην άρτια πραγματοποίηση του προγράμματος.

Ο τελικός απολογισμός του προγράμματος έγινε κατά το διάστημα 31/5/2017 μέχρι 5/6/2017 μετά από επίσκεψη στην Ελλάδα, των συνεργαζομένων σχολείων των πέντε κρατών που συμμετείχαν στο πρόγραμμα.

Για ακόμη μία φορά όλοι έμειναν πολύ ικανοποιημένοι από την πατροπαράδοτη ελληνική φιλοξενία.

 

REPORTING AND EVALUATION BY THE GREEK SCHOOL

 

Schedule of the week

From 17^th to 21^st October we attended activities and seminars, which were part of the meeting ?Smart Tourism?, that took place in Agrupamento de Escolas Miguel Torga in Braganca.

Monday: The activities οf the week started with a visit to the school, where the teachers and the students welcomed us. There, we attended some presentations about Portugal and we got informed about the activities which were part of the programme, during our staying there. After that we went sightseeing through the city, we visited the City Hall and were welcomed by the Mayor and were also informed about the city and the Portuguese culture in general. After we returned to the school we were separated in working groups and attended presentations about the Monthesinho Natural Park, by a technician of the park. At the end, each team made their presentation about ?Smart Tourism? in their country. In the evening, we tried the local cuisine in traditional restaurants of the city.

Tuesday: We started our day at school, where a bus took us to the Montesinho Natural Park. The technician of the park guided us through the village and also to a traditional Guest House, she gave us information about the territory which is considered as a protected area and she told us some traditional myths and legends. The information and experiences we got from this visit, were part of our talk, which took place at the school library, in the same afternoon. At the end of the day we attended the European Language Day students? awards which were presented by Mr Michael Sch?ttler.

Wednesday: On Wednesday we had to be at school at 6:30, because on that day we were about to visit Porto. The first thing we visited was the Interactive Museum of the Portuguese Discoveries, which was a really great experience, and gave us a lot of information about the country and its history. After visiting the Museum we had a cruise, a boat trip in river Douro. During the trip we were able to listen to some information about the places we saw, due to the fact that the boat had a headphone system in every seat, which we could use. After lunch, we spent a few hours walking through the city. In the afternoon we visited the west coast of Porto, the one that faces the Atlantic Ocean, which practically means that we visited Porto?s posh area and spent a few moments by the ocean. The afternoon was spent with the families.

Thursday: On Thursday we worked in groups for one more time at the school library and we had the opportunity to finish the project that the teachers had instructed us on Tuesday. We were lucky enough to attend and take part in the events that took place at the school area, that were part of the election campaign for the Students Council. At the end of the day, also in groups we exchanged impressions, ideas and thoughts about the activities which took place the previous days, and we had the opportunity to propose some ideas of improvement. At the evening the hostess held a dinner for the families and the teachers as well, which was accompanied by Portuguese traditional music, Fantos.

Friday: On Friday morning, before we left, we met the students and the teachers from the other countries at the school. There, we attended the activities of the final day.

Later, on the same day, we prepared for our departure. Everyone was very emotional, we made a final exchange of ideas and experiences and we made a promise for further communication. Leaving Portugal, we travelled to Madrid by bus, where we were able to spend some time at the beautiful centre of the city, and spent the night there.

Saturday: On Saturday we flew to Thessaloniki, via Athens.
